Christmas Joy Diorama

Well, this one is an old project of mine waiting......and waiting for inspiration, I guess...and time of course. Winter is a good theme for a diorama. I searched for a good way to do illuminated christmas tree in small scale and I succeeded...check it here
Step one: I did the base using wooden box covered with a layer of 3 mm cardboard. The thickness of the cardboard served the road carving....and stone texture added later

The stone walls are made from dense styrofoam were the fine texture of it's very good for this scale (1:72) 

The iron detail came from a fence kit 1:72 scale....time effective this way

A few details added as in rust, moss and some dry plants

Here, I just made a quick assemble with the elements (the house, the tree and the car were done a while back)...

A few objects added as: barrel, wood pile, tree trunk with axe...

And a bench, a lantern (not fixed yet), dry grass...

Color...
